Homemade Decorations! To make a painted ornament start by getting different colours of paint you like for your ornament. You might want to use red and green to represent christmas or maybe even blue to represent snow. All you have to do is paint the outside of the ornament just the way you like it. When you are done put the ornament upside down to dry. After the ornament is all dry you can hang the ornament on your tree. ![]() Christmas ornament You will need: A plastic ornament ball, 15 strips of scrap paper, glitter, wire, a bow, and a toothpick. Step 1: Take 1 strips of scrap book paper and role the begging of the strip at the end of a toothpick. Pull the toothpick out and continue to roll the strip until there is nothing left to role. Step 2: Take the strip and put it in the plastic ball. Make sure the strip does not unroll until you put it in the plastic ornament ball. Step 3: Repeat step 1 and 2 until all the strips are rolled up and put in the plastic ball. Step 4: pore a pinch of glitter in the plastic ornament ball. You can do this before or after you put the strips in. Step 5: Put the cap that comes with the plastic ornament ball. Paper Christmas ornament. You will need: 8 scrap booking paper strips, String, Beads, a single hole puncher, and two brad pins. Step 1: Line up all the strips of paper so that the colored side faces all one way. Take the hole puncher and punch a hole in each end of each paper. Step 2: Take your string and place three beads on it, tie the string so it makes a circle. Make sure the knot does not come undone. Step 3: Take the brad pin and place the sting under it then place the brad pin with the sharp end through the hole, on the other side where the brad pins sticks back out fold over the flaps. Put the other brad pin on the other end of the papers and flatten the flaps as well. Step 4: Take all the papers and spread them apart so that all the sides are facing out. You are done and you can hang your ornament on your tree. |
